- Successful completion of the Nursing Associate apprenticeship
- Registered Nursing Associate on NMC
- Previous experience of working within a health/social care setting
- Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the team and organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development
- Experience of working within Mental health
- Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business. Level 1 or 2
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal, and nonverbal communication) with patients, relatives/ carers and the multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to support, supervise, assess and act as a role model to nursing associate students, other learners and health care support workers as required within the clinical setting.
