π Electrical Design
- Develop internal & external lighting schemes.
- Design LV distribution, small power, and data systems.
- Carry out electrical condition surveys.
- Use tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and Amtech.
- Produce accurate technical drawings, load calculations, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671, Building Regulations, and CIBSE standards.
- Work alongside mechanical and public health engineers for fully integrated solutions.
- Assist with site visits, surveys, and detailed project documentation.
- Support preparation of proposals, tenders, and presentations.
- Contribute to low-carbon initiatives and energy studies.
- Support feasibility work (e.g., LZC, SBEM & SAP modelling).
- Help deliver energy-efficient and sustainable design outcomes.
- MEng or BEng in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- 2:1 or higher degree classification preferred.
- Familiarity with MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux).
- Knowledge of lighting design, LV systems, and load calculations.
- Understanding of BS 7671 and relevant Building Regulations.
- Strong numeracy, technical drawing, and analytical skills.
- Project exposure in commercial, residential, or small-scale MEP design.
- Basic knowledge of SBEM, SAP, or energy modelling.
- Work placements/internships in building services or consultancy.
- Detail-focused, organised, and methodical.
