Key Responsibilities As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will:
  • Support senior engineers throughout all stages of project delivery-from pre-planning and concept design to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Develop and refine electrical design elements including:
  • HV/LV distribution systems
  • Power generation and life-safety systems
  • General, emergency, and external lighting
  • IT/data infrastructure
  • Access, security, fire-alarm, and lightning protection systems
  • Contribute to low-carbon and sustainable design initiatives, energy consultancy, and pre-design analysis.
  • Participate in site activities such as reviewing contractor submissions, witnessing tests, commissioning, snagging, and as-built documentation.
  • Apply BIM Level 2 methodologies and CAD tools to coordinate MEP systems, detect clashes, and produce 3D modelling deliverables.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects in alignment with RIBA stages 0-7.
Who You Are
  • A recent graduate or early-career engineer with a degree in Electrical, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Passionate about sustainable, low-carbon design and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Strong problem-solver who can translate theory into practical applications.
  • Effective communicator and team player, capable of thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM processes is desirable.
