- Report directly to the Project Manager and you will assist the Project / Construction Manager in co-ordinating an effective and economic plant design and procurement strategy.
- Ensuring information is issued in time to enable construction, commissioning and putting to work in line with the Contract programme; provide cost data for forecasts and evaluation of variations.
- Ensure project costs remain within the approved budget and that all payment applications are submitted on or before the specified due date.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of contract reviews and monthly forecasts. Assist in the development and implementation of the overall project management strategy.
- Contribute to the development of the project schedule. Monitor progress, prepare regular reports, and establish and maintain comprehensive contract documentation systems.
- Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
- Be willing to undertake additional responsibilities, training, or work hours as needed.
- Collaborate closely with design departments to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions and ensure designs are developed which are safe to construct, commission, operate and maintain.
- Contribute to the regular development and review of risk and opportunity schedules.
- Develop and implement plant design and procurement strategy, ensure timely information
- Delivery and cost control, coordinate project activities, and maintain strong client relations.
- Essential: Engineering background, engineering/ technical qualification (HNC minimum) required, experience of supply chain, knowledge of water and waste water treatment processes, CDM & health & safety knowledge
- Desirable: A relevant professional qualification is preferred
