Description and requirementsSkanska, one of the world's leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society.We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Watford.What you'll do:
  • Lead the highways and infrastructure (drainage) teams, providing leadership and a forward-facing interface between the team and clients.
  • Mentor team members, supporting the development of technical and broader skills to support succession planning and business continuity.
  • Monitor and manage the commercial performance of projects ensuring delivery of a quality service on time and to budget
  • Co-ordinate the activities of the team to maximise utilisation and progress engineering designs and project deliverables.
  • Lead by example to promote the right behaviours
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Professionally qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MCIHT) or an ability to demonstrate that you are actively working towards gaining CEng.
  • Previous experience leading and managing team members or a highways and / or infrastructure design group.
  • Previous experience of commercial management of projects.
