This is a permanent position offering long-term progression and the opportunity to join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of the clean energy transition.Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the operational delivery of installation and maintenance works on private networks
  • Managing solar and BESS projects, ensuring timely and safe execution across multiple sites
  • Leading and developing a national operations team, reporting into the Operations Director
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, with regular involvement in project and commercial meetings
  • Managing contracts, budgets, resources, and risk in line with business objectives
  • Driving HSEQ compliance, workforce productivity, and continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
  • Strong background in operations management within the power, utilities, or renewable energy sectors
  • Technical knowledge of BESS, solar, and high voltage infrastructure up to 132kV
  • Proven experience managing field-based operational teams across multiple live sites
  • Excellent client-facing and leadership skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Familiarity with ICP processes, NERS, CDM regulations, and relevant HSEQ frameworks
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK as required but remain local to the office in Yorkshire
