In a NutshellTo provide training, advice and guidance to coaches/tutors to support learners with additional learning needs (ALN). Through promoting effective use of best practice strategies, promoting the use of adaptions and learning strategies to ensure that all learners achieve their full potential.What will you be doing?
  • Contributing to the strategic delivery of learning support across all sectors by demonstrating expertise within all aspects of additional learner support
  • Providing advice and guidance by identify and arrange appropriate training for coaches/tutors who are teaching learners with additional needs
  • Taking responsibility for the financial assurance of the Learner Support delivery, including identifying training and development of Coaches/Tutors to improve the quality of delivery.
  • Meeting internal KPI targets alongside external requirements as required by Awarding organisations, Ofsted/Estyn/SDS and all funding partners.
  • Ensuring the standardisation of all aspects of additional learner support within the company.

It would be great if you had
  • Experience as an access arrangement assessor who has successfully completed a post - graduate course at or equivalent to Level 7, including at least 100 hours relating to individual specialist assessment.
  • Experience as a specialist assessor with a current SplD Assessment Practicing Certificate, as awarded by Patoss, Dyslexia Action or BDS listed on the SASC website.
