- Prepare and issue order acknowledgements.
- Create and monitor works orders to ensure timely progress.
- Track and manage stock levels, identifying usage trends.
- Oversee receipting and dispatch of goods.
- Manage general purchasing activities.
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Organise UK and European freight requirements.
- Track orders throughout the process, escalating any risks to the Production Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- Provide flexible administrative support to the operations team, with a focus on assisting the Production Supervisor.
- Actively contribute to the company's continuous improvement initiatives, supporting growth within operations and the wider business.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe, and organised workplace, particularly in the operations office.
- Use company resources responsibly and efficiently to support cost-effective operations.
- Proven experience and confidence in managing complex, multifaceted administrative tasks.
- Flexible and able to contribute effectively to a varied workload within a busy team environment.
- Adaptable, with strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- Proactive team player with a confident, positive, and "can-do" attitude.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and thorough, with a strong focus on process improvement.
- Experience with Sage or similar systems is desirable.
