- Deliver care to defined case load of patients requiring specialist care.
- Act as the patient's advocate maintaining privacy and dignity.
- Provide advice and support to junior staff and learners in all aspects of the delivery of high quality care.

- NMC registration & revalidation requirements
- Significant post registration experience, and experience at a band 5 post
- Relevant Rheumatology qualification or course
- Evidence of degree/working towards higher degree or equivalent experience
- Evidence of management/leadership skills gained through theoretical knowledge and or experience
- Specific knowledge of the clinic area/speciality
- Responsibility & Accountability
- Able to assesses associated risks and takes appropriate action
- Evidence of MDT working
