- St Mark's Hospital: an internationally renowned specialist centre for bowel disease
- Ealing Hospital: a busy district general hospital providing a range of clinical services, as well as 24/7 emergency department and urgent care centre, and specialist care at Meadow House Hospice
- Central Middlesex Hospital: our planned care site, hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
- oEducated to degree level or equivalent qualification/experience oPost graduate qualification or equivalent oEvidence of continuing professional development including management studies to masters level or above or equivalent experience
- oClinical Experience
- oStrong and effective leadership and people management skills oStrong influencing, persuasion and negotiating skills oHighly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills suitable for a range of audiences, including ochairing of meetings oAbility to ensure patient safety by assessing and managing risks associated with service developments oAbility to work with and through others oAbility to perform well under pressure and manage unpredictable workload with conflicting priorities oQuality focused with an innovative approach and the ability to solve complex problems oAbility to develop effect networks and work collaboratively with internal and external partners oAbility to critically analyse complex financial and clinical data sets oWell-developed IT skills to manage and report on complex performance management information oPersonal resilience Able to participate in on-call rota as required
- oSignificant experience in Theatre Utilisation, 6-4-2 and Scheduling. oSignificant experience working on both strategic and operational matters oSignificant NHS/ public sector experience and knowledge, including up-to- date knowledge and understanding of NHS system reform policy and other key policy drivers. oDemonstrable success in building, leading, motivating and developing multi- disciplinary teams as a highly effective people manager oProven experience of effective performance and budgetary management and control, including achieving annual targets on a regular basis for a large group of clinical specialities oProven success in business planning and in the development of business cases oExperience of leadership of complex operational change/project management owhile also developing and maintaining high standards of quality
