MFT has recently installed an enterprise Electronic Patient Record and looking to use data warehousing and business intelligence to support the decision making of clinical and operational staff.To achieve in this exciting role you will need; a real eye for detail, an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, a willingness and ability to liaise with our stakeholders to interpret requirements and transform them into technical specifications along with an enthusiasm to get the job done to the highest standards. You will have advanced technical knowledge in a range of areas of IM&T, and evidence of using various information analysis techniques such as SQL, Access, Excel including Pivot Tables. Power BI experience desirable.Experience of working with NHS data is desirable but exceptional candidates without previous NHS experience will be considered.Communicating and visualising complex data is a key part of this role, with the aim of developing a shared understanding of the health and care environment. The role will offer a hybrid working model with the ideal candidate on site for two to three days per week.Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will develop, automate and streamline regular report processes in SQL including current statutory and operational reports.This post will be set within the Analytics and Insights team working collaboratively with colleagues across Information Services and Data Assurance, and lead on the development of technical solutions to support the organisation.The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development of a performance-focused culture where safety, effectiveness and patient experience are consistently delivered through theprovision of high-quality performance information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking, forecasting and intelligent modelling.About usMFT is one of the largest NHS Trust In England with a turnover of over £3bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
