  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
  • A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS check.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience with assessment for learning.
Key Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for Maths.
  • Ability to create innovative and engaging lesson plans.
  • Strong rapport-building skills with students of all abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence in using a variety of teaching methods.
  • A genuine love for the subject of mathematics.
Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Years 7 to 13.
  • Assess and monitor student performance, providing targeted support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and review schemes of work.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular Maths clubs.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance as a form tutor.
  • Communicate with parents about student progress and concerns.
  • Participate in school-wide staff training and development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Uphold the school's behaviour policy.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful learning environment.
