The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, preparing students for their GCSE and A-Level examinations.   • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

  • Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all key stages.
  • The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching.
Responsibilities:
  • Teaching Maths to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Planning, preparing, and marking schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing regular feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the Maths curriculum.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and wider school activities.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.
  • Maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures.
  • Acting as a form tutor, if required.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as requested by the Head of Department.
