- Translate strategic goals into process optimization initiatives
- Promote and lead lean process optimization initiatives to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform detailed data analysis and reporting to identify areas for continuous improvement, such as analysing financial data to uncover cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with key functional teams to successfully implement improvements projects
- Support site leadership in determining strategic goals and aligning team efforts to achievement of goals.
- Engage colleagues across functions and levels to adopt continuous improvement approach to their role by developing site-wide capability through training and leading through influence
- Monitor and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Influence senior leaders and manage priorities through effective improvement funnel tracking
- Lead improvement project reviews to support and drive accountability
- Lead by example and coach team on the use of common improvement tools through hands-on demonstration, simulation, and real-world application
- Inspire and embed a continuous improvement mindset across teams
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and with adaptability to suit different audiences
- Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on process optimization and applying continuous improvement tools to support strategy.
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively cross different levels and functions of the organization
- Demonstrates attention to detail and a dedication to achieving outstanding outcomes.
- Experience in chemical repacking is a plus
- Knowledge of process automation and relevant applications is a plus
- Proven experience in building and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to identify, quantify, and eliminate waste and inefficiencies across processes
- Skilled in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, 5W1H)
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain, equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
