Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in the classroom?GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in schools in Dronfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff to support teaching and learning while gaining invaluable classroom experience.As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring students remain on task in a calm and focused learning environment.Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
  • Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, delivering set work.
  • Maintain classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy.
  • Ensure students complete the assigned work to the best of their ability.
  • Provide support and encouragement to students throughout the lesson.
  • Report back to teaching staff on student behaviour and lesson outcomes.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
  • Experience working in an educational setting or with young people is desirable.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Adaptability and confidence to lead lessons across various subjects.
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress.
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with a clear employment history and explanations for any gaps within the last 10 years.
