Youth Worker in SchoolsAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience working with students who face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges? Can you inspire, support, and positively impact those who need it most?About the Role:We are seeking a committed Youth Mentor to join schools in the Wolverhampton area. This dynamic position combines elements of classroom support with dedicated mentoring for students who may be dealing with trauma or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.You'll provide consistent, compassionate support to help young people navigate their emotions, improve behaviour, re-engage with learning, and build the confidence they need to thrive in their education. Every day brings new challenges and rewards - and your ability to remain calm, empathetic, and focused will be essential to success in this role.We're looking for someone who:
  • Has experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, ADHD, autism, or other additional needs.
  • Builds strong, positive relationships based on trust and respect
  • Uses clear communication and a nurturing approach to promote emotional wellbeing.
  • Is dedicated to helping students feel safe, understood, and empowered.
