A receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients at the Surgery, providing a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Main duties of the jobAs a receptionist you will receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the most appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. We therefore need someone with excellent interpersonal skills, keyboard and IT skills, knowledge of EMIS Web clinical system is desirable but no essential. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred, although full training will be provided.An understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the workplace and an ability to follow data protection policies and guidelines is essential.The successful applicant will benefit from working in a pleasant, friendly environment, to include NHS Pension.About usRVHP Is a friendly team driven practice.
