- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant managerial experience in similar production environments
- Development of Lean culture and learning environment
- Experience of training/developing staff
- Strong people management skills with the ability to make decisions, use initiative, implement, and ensure compliance with company policies & procedures.
- PC literate within a Microsoft windows environment.
- Customer focused.
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Experience of working in an Electronic Assembly Operation / Medical Devices
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experience of managing production department in a fast paced and complex environment
- Dynamic Decision Maker, Effective Planner, Problem Solver and Communicator.
- Knowledge and understanding of GMP standards within area of operation.
- Continuous Improvement activity - proven experience in the use of and deployment of Lean tools and techniques or Lean Six Sigma accreditation.
- Competent in use of computer systems/programs
- Relevant higher education qualification e.g., Degree, Higher National Certificate / Diploma
- Managerial experience at a Senior Level
