Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Façade Fitters to work on the installation of façades on commercial buildings. The successful candidates will be responsible for the precise fitting and assembly of external façade components, including cladding systems, curtain walling, rainscreens, and architectural panels. You must have a strong background in joinery, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction site safety and façade systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and fit façade components using hand and power tools.
  • Install cladding panels, framework, sub-structures, insulation, and other façade systems to technical specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Use appropriate fixings and supports to secure façades to building exteriors.
  • Work at height safely using scaffolding, access platforms, or MEWPs.
  • Collaborate with site managers, façade engineers, and other trades on-site.
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Carry out finishing tasks such as sealing, flashing, and waterproofing.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a joiner in façade installation or similar construction projects.
  • Competent in using joinery tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and plans.
  • A Safe Pass (or equivalent) will be an advantage. If not in place, the candidate will be required to undergo the training upon commencement of employment.
  • NO issue with working at heights
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
