With our strong reputation for inclusivity, development, and colleague wellbeing Home Group provides both purpose and progression in a supportive workplace culture.You can be service based or work across 3 different services, no day is the same.Typical day as a Reablement WorkerSupport our customers in their own apartment who have a range of support needs including frailty and dementia.Help to regain or maintain independence and live well in their own home by carrying out every day daily living activities by themselves.Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.Supporting customers who have more complex needs with personal care including bathing, toileting and getting dressed.Assisting in the delivery of tasks based on our customers personal support plans, making them feel valued, respected and maintaining their dignity.You’ll go home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better, here, at one of the top ten Great Place to Work in the UK!You bringCare Certificate or willing to complete within the first 12 weeks of employmentA Level 2 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience working in a personal care environment or willing to study for a Level 2 Diploma in Care.Passion to support our customers to live their best life.Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure, and having a resilient approach.You’ll have experience of risk management, supporting and empowering customers through their care plans.Recognise every customer is different and you’re able to adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs.We can't sponsor you due to certificate limits. Our team includes a Client Service Manager, Lead Reablement Workers and Reablement Workers.Job detailsWe provide 24-hour support, so you’ll work on a rota basis with shifts between 07:00am and 10:00pm, taking your turn to work days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Example shifts include 07:00-14:45, 17:00-21:00 and 14:00-22:00.Where we’re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.Although you’ll work shifts, we do get together regularly for training and team meetings.Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.A place where you belongGreat things happen when we can be ourselves at work.
