Job DescriptionQuality Improvement Lead - DiagnosticsHome based with travel to meet the needs of the businessFull Time - 37.5 Hours Per WeekUp to £53,000 + benefitsWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Improvement Lead to join our Diagnostic governance team at Ramsay Health Care UK.We’re looking for an experienced Quality Improvement Lead to help shape, deliver, and continuously improve clinical governance and imaging quality standards across our Diagnostic Imaging services at Ramsay Health Care UK. This role involves close collaboration with both clinical and governance teams to ensure the effective delivery of imaging governance.If you thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment and are ready to lead transformational change in imaging services, we’d love to hear from you.About the RoleAs Quality Improvement Lead – Diagnostics, you will play a critical role in:Leading on quality improvement initiatives within diagnostic imaging services, ensuring they are aligned with national guidance, professional standards, and evidence-based practice.Overseeing incident management, clinical governance processes, and continuous improvement activities that drive patient safety and service excellence.Supporting and guiding imaging teams to maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including IR(ME)R 2017, IRR 2017, and MHRA MRI safety guidelines.Leading audits, evaluating clinical practices, and integrating patient experience insights to inform service development and redesign.Working collaboratively across clinical and corporate governance teams to embed a strong culture of safety, quality, and learning.What You’ll BringEssential
  • HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer
  • Knowledge of IR(ME)R, IRR, and MHRA MRI safety regulations, with proven experience in implementing and evaluating quality improvement within clinical imaging services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others through change and continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements relevant to diagnostic imaging services
  • Experience in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Commitment to continuous professional development for self and others
  • Self-starter with a positive and proactive can- do attitude
  • Can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to complex issues.
Desirable
  • Risk management experience, including incident investigation, audit, data analysis, and trend identification
  • Ability to evaluate the quality of clinical practice and maintain effective quality management systems
  • Excellent IT, organisational, and record-keeping skills, with experience managing digital documentation systems
  • High-level communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and influence effectively
