Private Client Partner or Legal Director
Location: BathAre you an experienced and ambitious Private Client lawyer ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a Partner or Legal Director to join a well-established regional practice in their Bath office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and make a real impact.The Role:
  • Advising clients on complex, high-value estate administration.
  • Drafting and advising on Wills and LPAs.
  • Providing strategic, tax-efficient wealth structuring advice for individuals, families, and business owners.
  • Advising on trusts, partnerships, and company structures.
  • Leading and managing a team of fee earners, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Advising on inheritance tax and capital gains, using trusts and partnerships.
  • Supporting team growth and development, mentoring junior solicitors.
  • Driving business development and shaping the department's strategic direction.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Private Client law.
  • STEP qualification or equivalent expertise.
  • Strong technical knowledge in trusts, estate administration, and tax planning.
  • Proven leadership experience, able to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Client-focused approach with the ability to handle complex, sensitive matters.
  • A track record of business development and nurturing client relationships.
  • Enthusiasm and ambition to contribute to the future success of the team.
