This is a high-impact role with excellent autonomy and the support of an experienced Public Sector team.Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new leads through proactive outreach and lead generationBuild and manage a pipeline of qualified sales opportunitiesEngage with clients through calls, emails, online meetings, and in-person visitsConduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs and challengesDeliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations (online and in-person)Act as a product champion - understanding and communicating the full solution valuePrepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate pricing and termsMaintain regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and performanceCollaborate closely with the wider public sector sales and delivery teamsFoster strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clientsConsistently meet or exceed personal and team sales targetsWhat You'll Bring:Proven track record in new business sales (ideally within the Local Government sector)Strong experience in a customer-facing role with a consultative sales approachConfident delivering interactive presentations and solution demosA background in selling IT services or technology solutionsExcellent communication, negotiation, and closing skillsExperience compiling prospect lists and identifying new routes to marketHigh levels of resilience, self-motivation, and goal orientationPreferred Qualifications:Third-level degree or equivalent professional experiencePrior experience selling into public sector or government frameworks is a bonusUnderstanding of procurement processes in the public sector is highly desirableYou'll Thrive If You Are:Ambitious with a clear hunger for successA self-starter, comfortable working independentlyNaturally resilient and solution-focusedEnergised by winning new business and building strong relationships
