This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified actuary to join our client’s growing analytics team, focused on the performance of the European Protection business. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, contributing to business planning, financial reporting, and the identification of strategic opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Analyse and explain quarterly financial results (e.g., QBR, IRT)Support business planning with forward-looking insightsLiaise with actuarial, finance, operations, and pricing teams to ensure accurate reportingIdentify opportunities that deliver added value to the businessBuild and manage relationships across departmentsSkills & Experience:Qualified actuary with 1+ year post-qualification experienceBackground in life insurance or reinsurance (UK Protection preferred)Strong grasp of actuarial valuation principles and processesProficient in Excel; knowledge of Tyche or similar software beneficialExcellent analytical and communication skillsAble to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesAdaptable and collaborative, with a proactive mindsetBehaviours & Competencies:Strong technical understanding and industry awarenessClear and confident communicatorSelf-driven and solution-orientedComfortable with change and complexity
