- Managing incidents / cases of violence & aggression
- Development and delivery of training programmes
- Undertaking audits and inspection programmes
- Investigating significant incidents
- Completing complex risk assessments
- Reviewing and developing policies and procedures
- Ability to produce high quality reports
- Comfortable both giving and receiving direction
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities
- Ability to motivate staff
- Ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organisation
- Able to interact with the public appropriately and patiently and to have an awareness and respect of cultural diversity
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Level 3 health and safety qualification i.e., NEBOSH General Certificate
- Qualified and accredited NHS Case Management Training
- Violence & Aggression Training qualification i.e., General Services Association (GSA)
- Member of recognised professional body, i.e., IOSH, IIRSM
