- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
- Public Health and/or Clinical Qualification
- Basic health and safety qualification i.e. IOSH Managing Safely
- Registered health care professional
- Teaching or education qualification
- Information governance qualification
- Significant experience relating to crime and violence reduction
- Significant work experience within a multi-site / complex organisation.
- Experience of setting objectives, developing policies and strategies in relation to crime and violence reduction.
- Experience of analysing complex and sensitive information and presenting to a wide range of audiences including senior level.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Experience in confronting challenging issues taking a problem solving approach to ensure proactive and effective resolution.
- Experience in planning, delivering and evaluating teaching programmes.
- Experience of liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to influence colleagues, effecting change and development at all levels within the Trust and externally.
- Experience of security/abuse/BWV in the ambulance sector.
- Experience of abuse/crime/security in the NHS and a good understanding of governance processes and systems.
- Project management experience.
- Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
- Evidence of experience and understanding in managing areas covered by role brief.
- Police or investigative experience
