Rate: £38.97 per hour PAYE or £52.50 per hour UmbrellaOur client is seeking an Electronics Engineer to support and enhance legacy analogue and digital systems within a specialist engineering team focused on high-reliability motion control equipment.In this role, you’ll:
- Work on complex legacy systems (circa 1980s–90s), providing solutions for obsolescence, defect resolution, and design support.
- Apply your expertise in analogue and digital design, component evaluation, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate across disciplines including Systems, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Safety Engineering.
- Operate independently under limited technical direction, contributing to system integration and test activities.
- Strong background in analogue/digital electronics design in defence, marine, or other high-integrity environments.
- Proven ability with legacy systems and obsolescence management.
Please note, due to the sensitive nature of the project involved all applicants must be capable of gaining a UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level.
