- Undertaking comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and risks facing children and their families.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans that support positive outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health visitors, teachers, and police, to ensure a holistic approach.
- Providing direct support and intervention to families in crisis or those requiring ongoing assistance.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with professional standards and legal requirements.
- A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
