The RoleAs a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for conducting direct assessments and assessments of need for children and families. Your work will involve:
  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and risks facing children and their families.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans that support positive outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health visitors, teachers, and police, to ensure a holistic approach.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to families in crisis or those requiring ongoing assistance.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with professional standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
