General Service Assistant (Part-Time, Maternity Cover)Aramark UK – Glencorse Barracks, EH26 0NP£12.21 per hour – Part-time – Maternity Cover until Nov 2025 with potential extension.Job SummaryAramark UK is hiring a General Service Assistant to join our Defence sector team at Glencorse Barracks. This is a part-time maternity cover role until November 2025, with the possibility of extension. You’ll be working 24 hours per week across 4 days, including occasional weekends.Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Operate tills and handle cash/card payments
  • Maintain cleanliness in dining and serving areas
  • Support both front and back-of-house operations
  • Follow health and safety procedures
  • Report to the on-site Catering Manager
Requirements
  • Previous food service or customer-facing experience is desirable (training provided)
  • Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK
  • Must have lived in the UK for 3+ years (security clearance required)
  • Reliable transport is essential due to limited public transport access
