This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in quality assurance on complex, safety-critical engineering work.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and supporting QA documentationProvide technical quality support across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation (ME&I) disciplinesCoordinate with Welding Engineers, Project Engineers, and suppliers to meet QA requirementsOversee compliance with welding, fabrication, NDT, and material certification standardsLiaise with 3rd party inspectors and manage the inspection functionContribute to continuous improvement, internal/external audits, and performance tracking against KPIsEnsure all documentation is maintained within the Company's Combined Management System (CMS)Experience & Skills Required:Solid background in engineering and QA/QCExperience with Quality Management Systems, KPI tracking, and supplier documentation reviewsStrong understanding of fabrication, welding, and NDT techniquesAbility to interpret isometric drawings and pipe specificationsComputer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and report writing skillsEssential Qualifications:CSWIP Level 3.2 - Senior Welding InspectorPCN Level 2 - Radiographic InterpretationRecognised Internal Auditor QualificationDesirable:ONC/HNC in Mechanical EngineeringMember of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)If you're a driven QA/QC professional looking for your next challenge within the nuclear or energy sectors, we'd love to hear from you.
