We are working with an established Machines Manufacturing company based in Maidstone, UK.They are recruiting for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region £35.000 - £37.000 along with excellent employment benefits.Are you a versatile and hands-on engineer with experience in mechanical engineering, tool making, servicing and assembly?Do you thrive on solving complex problems and have a keen understanding of pneumatics, high volume mass production machinery, assembly lines and conveyor systems?Our client is a fast growing, diverse and successful engineering company with a full order book of projects throughout sectors such as automotive, aerospace, packaging lines and roboticsThis is a great opportunity to be part of a team that benefits from a variation of customers and products which promotes cross sector innovation and solutions.Key Responsibilities include:
  • Your expertise will be put to use both on our site building new machine and production lines as well as commissioning and servicing existing installations at customer premises.
  • You'll analyse, diagnose, and fix mechanical issues efficiently, demonstrating problem-solving skills
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance the performance of mechanical systems, constantly striving for improvement
  • Embrace the opportunity to work off-site when required, taking your skills to different environments and overcoming unique challenges
  • Collaborate with the team and our customers to share your insights and expertise, contributing to a culture of learning and growth for future projects
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of pneumatics is a significant advantage. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the company’s operations
  • Bring your knowledge of mechanical systems, tool making, and assembly to the forefront, showcasing your skills in crafting precision solutions
  • You have the knack for tackling challenges head-on, devising innovative solutions, and thinking outside the box
  • You're adaptable and ready for regular off-site assignments
  • An understanding of site Health and safety protocols is a must, to ensure the well-being of all team members
