Please visit our website:Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for an Associate Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team to support on a range of high profile fit out and refurbishment projects, focusing on MEP.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Managing the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across of all MEP Design & Construction and retail projects
- Manage aspects of MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy including pre and post contract duties.
- Assist in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
- Input to the tender process, review and analyse MEP tender returns and support recommendations to the client as well as advice on MEP package procurement routes.
- Producing guidance notes on the reporting structure so that clients and vendors ensure they are all adequately trained on the reporting process.
- Stakeholder management through chairing of client meetings, presenting findings from the data reported on by vendors within region.
- Publishing and presenting monthly reports, monthly programme dashboards and bi-weekly status reports.
- Regular interaction with vendor representatives working collaboratively with each vendor to ensure they are able to effectively report on their projects.
- A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full MEP project life cycle
- Professionally qualified (RICS, CIBSE or similar)
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
- Knowledge & contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
