Job Description Summary The PDX Logistics Specialist provides operational expertise in day-to-day logistics activities, as well as ad-hoc emergency situations and during the set-up of new processes They oversee the end-to-end coordination of domestic and international pharmaceutical shipments, with a focus on performance optimisation, and stakeholder alignment. This role ensures timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of sensitive and regulated products, including radioactive materials, while driving continuous improvement in logistics operations.Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesOperational LogisticsMaintain and optimise a shipment tracking system.Monitor inbound shipments from global suppliers (e.g., Netherlands, France, Germany).Manage import processes and 3rd-party warehouse coordination.Ensure timely resolution of inventory discrepanciesTrack final-mile deliveries and proactively communicate delays to Customer Services.Inventory and stock count managementResponsible for organizing and setting up the logistics processes as optimally as possible taking into consideration safety, quality, delivery reliability and cost efficiency.Initiate and execute improvement or implementation projects aimed at the internal and external logistics processes, independently or through an active contribution to a project group.Liaise with Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Shipping and Planning departments.Fulfill a monitoring role when it comes to daily operationsStakeholder & Carrier ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for UK distribution-related queries.Lead regular cross-functional logistics meetings.Investigate delivery complaints and implement corrective actions with carriers.Conduct supplier performance reviews and maintain KPI dashboards.Represent department the in business meetings with partnersCompliance & QualityInvestigate and report radiological incidents and damaged packages.Maintain accurate logistics records in SAP and TrackWise.Ensure all logistics SOPs and Work Instructions are current and aligned with regulatory standards.Strategic & Financial OversightManage UK freight process improvement initiatives.Provide ITC data and support to manufacturing sites.Approve and reconcile carrier invoices.QualificationsSignificant experience in pharmaceutical logistics or supply chain operations.Strong knowledge of GDP, ADR, and import/export regulations.Experience with SAP, TrackWise, and logistics tracking systems.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical mindset with experience in KPI reporting and supplier performance.Inclusion and DiversityGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
