As our successful Software Engineering Technical Lead you will join the Software Engineering team at CAVU.
  • You will be responsible for the technical leadership of a team of circa 3 Back End Engineers, 2 Front End Engineers and 2 QA Engineers.
  • You will be driving a 'bottom up' approach to engineering and you will remain around 80% hands on technically.
  • You'll realize that modern applications are more than just researching which AWS services and datastores are right for the job and how to orchestrate everything using Terraform.
  • You'll be working closely with product owners and architects and will take full responsibility for developing and delivering a strategic technological vision
  • and direction for the business.
About You:
Ideally, you'll bring the following skills and experience:
  • A proven track record as a hand on technical leader of PHP Engineering teams
  • Hands on experience in PHP
  • AWS Skills
  • Laravel skills
  • Microservices
  • Infrastructure as a Code (nice to have)
