My client, a leading law firm, is currently hiring for an HR Advisor to join their Business Partnering team, based in either London or Manchester. This is a newly created role, driven by growth, and will support the fee-earning side of the business.In this position, you’ll work closely with HR Business Partners, contributing to a broad range of employee relations matters, HR projects, and global initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partnering team to deliver high-quality HR support.
  • Advise on and manage employee relations matters including disciplinaries, investigations, absence management, performance management, grievances, and redundancies.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries, escalating to HR Business Partners when necessary.
  • Support team and wider HR initiatives and projects as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Work with the global HR team to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business area to provide optimal support.
  • Assist in delivering HR calendar activities.
  • Monitor and report on key employee metrics and trends.
  • Support and deliver training sessions to upskill employees and supervisors.
  • Stay informed on external HR thought leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in relevant areas of expertise.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and skills.
  • Lead and support HR projects, taking ownership and accountability where appropriate.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
  • Ensure deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and support junior team members in meeting expectations.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships across all levels.
  • Mentor junior team members and assist HR Business Partners with key tasks and projects.
