- Provide administrative support to colleagues with Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Help develop and update safety policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Organize team meetings, coordinate audits, inspections, and track corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training sessions.
- Monitor and review safety documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the creation of safety reports and contribute to promoting a culture of safety.
- Maintain accurate and organized safety documentation and audit trails.
- Assist with the coordination of site inspections and audits, tracking outcomes and follow-up actions.
- Prepare safety reports and monitor compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support management in developing and improving Health & Safety processes.
- Contribute to raising awareness of safety standards across the organization.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident with Microsoft Excel, data tracking, and report preparation.
- Skilled in communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexible and self-directed, able to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Knowledgeable about waste streams or environmental compliance (desirable, but not essential).
- Previous administrative experience, preferably within a Health & Safety or compliance setting.
- Strong IT skills including email, scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
