HMP Foston Hall houses around 300 patients aged between 18-75 years of age. Within this role you will be delivering general practice clinics to support long term conditions and acute needs. Applicants must have a specialist interested in female health, and have competencies in female specific health needs including insertion and removal of LARCs. You will
  • Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
  • Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active
  • involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

  • MBChB or MBBS
  • Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
