
Techno-functional Quality Analyst (Hybrid)

- Supports initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production.
- Designs, creates, and executes test scripts (manual and automated), and conducts a variety of quality control user acceptance tests.
- Analyzes applications to ensure they meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Documents test cases and scripts for future replication.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to understand system requirements and provide feedback on design and usability.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Exhibits a good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge of related areas.
- Makes evaluative judgments and resolves problems through the application of acquired technical experience.
- Collaborate with wider teams for knowledge exchange, and best practice sharing
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Experience in software application testing.
- Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools e.g. Jira.
- Understanding of Agile principles and practices. Hands-on experience working in Agile Scrum framework is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively. communicate testing results, issues, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of automation frameworks. Hands on experience with automated testing is preferred.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
