
Clinical Fellow Neuroanaesthesia & Critical Care

- MB ChB (or equivalent)
- Current GMC registration without restrictions
- FRCA or equivalent
- Have completed completed stage 1 (CT1-3) in a relevant training programme
- Experience of working in the NHS
- ALS certified
- Experience of Neuroanaesthesia & Neurocritical care
- Smooth progression through training consistent with personal circumstances
- Able to provide evidence of completion of the Royal College of Anaesthetists initial assessment of competency for SHOs/ST1 or to compete those competencies within two weeks of taking up the post
- able to recognise when senior assistance is needed
- Uses evidence-based techniques
- Manually dexterous
- Demonstrate up to date clinical knowledge of anaesthesia and critical care
- Demonstrate particular knowledge relevant to neurosurgery and neurology
- Commitment to ongoing medical education
- Demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and awareness of other specialities
- Ability to organise oneself and others in a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to organise rotas
- Supervision of trainees
