Based in Slough, UK, this role is essential in ensuring flawless technical training for laboratory and technical services departments. You will be instrumental in supporting department leads and the site training department by maintaining and delivering top-tier technical training for core activities. As a Laboratory Technical Trainer, you will uphold common standards of technical excellence and meet stringent quality and regulatory requirements.We are looking for candidates who are passionate about leading, crafting, and implementing engaging training material across various digital platforms. Your experience and enthusiasm will help craft the future of our training programs and ensure our teams are equipped to compete at the highest levels!Key responsibilities:Deliver high-standard laboratory technical training packages consistentlyConduct induction packages for new starters, improving HR induction and transitioning into role-specific trainingTechnically review and complete training documents to the Lonza DI standardPlan, coordinate, and assist in implementing training activity schedules and projectsManage and communicate training prerequisitesCommunicate training plans to departments, managers, and traineesComplete tasks according to schedule, ensuring timely completionSign off and return trainees to their departments fully trainedRaise any issues or blockers as necessaryIdentify service gaps and assist in crafting and reviewing training materials to address these gapsKey requirements:Experience in training within a GMP/regulated laboratory environmentProven experience in delivering laboratory-based training is desirableComprehensive understanding and ability to perform a range of laboratory techniques such as GPC, ICIEF, CESDS, SoloVPEFamiliarity with various training approaches, tools, and techniquesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
