CK Group is recruiting for a Lab technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 6 months.Salary: Paying £13.30 per hour PAYELab technician role:

Junior Technician working in the sample prep team
The work involves testing for allergens in food samples
Use ELISA and PCR testing
General day to day tasks include:

Homogenisation
Weighing samples
Washing the blenders
Admin and housekeeping - e.g. sample disposal and calibrating pipettes

Your Background:

Basic experience of work in a lab environment (6 - 12 months experience)
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career
Experience of working in a team and independently
Experience of maintaining lab equipment to ensure they are always operable
Able to record and report data and activity outcomes accurately
