- A degree in a science or health-related subject.
- Demonstrable understanding of Good Clinical Practice.
- Experience of working in research.
- Demonstrable experience in literature review, critical appraisal and academic writing.
- Experience managing evaluations, audits and research studies.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams proactively.
- Ability to work with sensitivity and tact with sensitive or contentious information.
- Able to treat sensitive information confidentially.
- Familiarity with funding applications and research delivery.
- Experience of conducting formal project evaluations and / or research projects.
- Effective facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with national research systems and structures, particularly NIHR.
- Awareness of ethical frameworks, HRA processes and NHS research guidelines.
