Absorbed by car company CEOs, adored by car enthusiasts and appreciated just as much by car buyers, Autocar is the place to work to help not just inform people about the latest cars and people in the industry but influence them, too.We’re seeking an organised, creative self-starter with proven social media experience who can manage the social media strategy and output across the Autocar brand.You will develop creative content on a variety of social media channels and work with key stakeholders on how to maximise engagement with our audiences. Responsibilities:Core responsibilities
  • Develop engaging, creative, innovative audio, video and written content.
  • Lead innovation across all our social media channels and work closely with our Apprentice. This is as well as teaching and encouraging team members in how to maximise engagement with our audiences.
  • Video shooting and editing skills for social media; video is expected to be central to this role.
  • Research and analyse social media trends, proving success with data.
  • Establish best practice through personal endeavour and demonstrate to the wider teams how they can support and then undertake activity to grow our presence.
  • Audit and analyse social media channels, using data to determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to bring teams with you on the journey to success
  • Lead from the front, taking project direction from our brand editors
  • Proactive content creation
  • Experience of growing social media would be desirable
