This is a leadership role responsible for managing the finance function and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will oversee a small team, ensure strong financial controls, and contribute to commercial planning in a hands-on, values-driven environment.
  • Manage financial reporting processes, including preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Supervise and support the accounting team to maintain accurate records.
  • Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
  • Prepare and present financial insights to senior management.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.

  • A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial or product led or manufacturing sector (ideal but not pre-requisite).

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
