- Clinical Nurse Specialist experience
- Paediatric Diabetes management
- Insulin Pumps initiation and management
- Ability to practice within the scope of the NMC code of Professional Conduct
- Knowledge of audit and/or participated in Projects
- Knowledge of research and/or participated in Projects
- Knowledge of diabetes management Principles
- Knowledge or experience of nursing people living with diabetes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well established leadership, interpersonal and managerial skills
- Effective teaching and public presentation skills
- Effective multidisciplinary team working
- Conflict management
- Familiar with computer systems and IT skills
- Able to initiate and implement change and carry out objectives/ projects
