Hours: 40 hour working week, Monday - FridayResponsibilities of the Workshop Supervisor
- Lead and support the Workshop team, providing training, guidance, and hands-on technical assistance when needed.
- Manage workshop administration, including job planning, estimates, and ensuring smooth job card flow through to invoicing.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health, and safety, ensuring workmanship meets the expectations of a leading manufacturer.
- Collaborate with engineers and management to identify skills gaps, implement improvements, and support continuous development.
- Drive customer satisfaction by fostering positive relationships, resolving issues proactively, and contributing ideas to improve processes and service delivery.
- Relevant technical qualifications or completion of an apprenticeship, with strong skills in electrical and hydraulic systems, including the ability to read schematics.
- Proven experience applying technical expertise in a similar workshop or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and work effectively at all levels.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure, using initiative to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and overseas as required, and commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
