
Senior Sales Director, Emerging Enterprise

- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience leading a team of at least five quota-carrying, new business-focused Account Executives
- A proven ability to recruit, retain, inspire, and develop top talent
- Experience leading teams through the full lifecycle of a SaaS customer: prospecting, acquisition, renewals, retention, and expansion
- Strong track record of balancing new business generation with existing account growth and renewal outcomes
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Sales Operations
- Outstanding verbal, written, and in-person presentation skills
- Excellent commercial and legal negotiation skills
- Strong technical and business acumen, with the ability to engage multiple customer personas across industries, including technical, product, and marketing stakeholders
- Awareness of digital and application trends, particularly in the mobile space
- Prior experience selling Mobile or Marketing Technology is a strong plus
- Prior experience in a high-growth, startup technology environment is a plus
- Hire, nurture, and lead a team of world-class sales talent in the Emerging Enterprise segment
- Set and execute an ambitious customer acquisition, renewal, and expansion strategy across Northern Europe
- Ensure renewal health is a central focus, driving consistent retention and long-term growth in the segment
- Align go-to-market teams (BDR, Marketing, Value Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Executive) to deliver against the annual plan with a unified customer message
- Coach your team through the full sales cycle, actively participating in key opportunities, and providing accurate, detailed sales forecasting
- Represent Braze in prospect, customer, and industry forums as a trusted voice and thought leader
- Operate effectively at both the strategic and operational level, balancing vision with execution
- Play an active role within Braze's broader enterprise and global sales leadership team, contributing to strategy and best practice sharing
