- Managing day-to-day commercial operations for key accounts.
- Analysing sales data to forecast trends and unlock new category opportunities.
- Supporting strategic planning and pricing by building and maintaining complex cost-price models.
- Learning about our agricultural operations, including Poultry and Pig modelling.
- Collaborating across internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Aiding the Commercial Manager and Senior Commercial Manager to Pilgrim's Europe sales, volume & profitability targets (budget & PIP initiatives) and supporting the broader objectives of SCM line manager, Commercial Director and Foodservice BU.
- Participating in weekend on-call duties on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 4 weekends).
- A degree or equivalent experience.
- High level of numeracy and strong Excel skills (advanced spreadsheet capability).
- Strong relationship-building and communication abilities - both internally and with customers.
- A positive, curious, and tenacious attitude with a passion for delivering results.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other Pilgrim's Europe sites and customer locations.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Customer insight and category analysis.
- Experience with NPD (new product development) or food innovation.
- Proven analytical and commercial skills in a complex business environment.
- Confident in presenting and influencing across multiple levels.
