Start Date: September 2025Are you a recent English graduate with a passion for education and literature? Are you considering a career in teaching and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive and dynamic secondary school?A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Chelmsford, Essex is seeking a Graduate English Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant English department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and play a key role in helping raise attainment and engagement in English.About the Role:
· Support the delivery of English lessons, working with individuals and small groups
· Assist students in improving their reading, writing, and analytical skills
· Provide targeted intervention sessions for students who need extra support
· Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
· Gain valuable insight into lesson planning, classroom management, and student progress trackingAbout You:
· A recent graduate in English Literature, English Language, or a related discipline
· A strong academic background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Passionate about education and considering a career in teaching
· Confident, enthusiastic, and able to inspire young learners
· Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)What We Offer:
