An excellent secondary school in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and high-achieving Maths department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching.The Role:
· Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 Maths lessons
· Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
· Providing one-to-one or small group interventions for students who need additional support
· Helping to raise attainment and build students confidence in mathematics
· Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparationThe Ideal Candidate:
· Holds a degree in Mathematics (or a related subject)
· Has a strong academic background and excellent communication skills
· Is considering a future in teaching or education
· Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping young people succeed
